Marooned in a small town on the coast of California for most of her life, Kelsey developed a deep appreciation for myth and nature. Utilizing anything from paper to pencil to various found objects, she enveloped herself in a whirlwind of creation to find a way to make her ideas tangible.
Today she still pulls from those roots, creating images with a focus on nature and learning forays into unnatural hybrid creatures inspired by both myth and the strange reality of this world. The stable core of her pieces comes from traditional linework which then is fleshed out with other media.
She graduated college at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR, and is working to develop images and products that connect to a wide demographic, promoting mental health and appreciation for the natural world.
